Pursuant to Interdepartmental Committee (IDC) decision dated 07.02.2022, the IDC entry permission is not required for citizens of following countries and regions:
- Countries and regions with the visa-free regime: Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine, United Kingdom, USA, Uzbekistan, Vatican, Vietnam.
- Countries with which Kazakhstan resumed direct flights: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Vietnam.
Important:
- when crossing the border of the Republic of Kazakhstan by land transport (railway, automobile), the IDC permission is still required for all travellers regardless of citizenship
- all passengers arriving to Kazakhstan should provide a negative PCR test certificate for COVID-19, valid for 72 hours, regardless the vaccination. For children under the age of five, a certificate is not required if the accompanying persons have a document confirming a negative test.
