Please note that foreign nationals still need special permission from the IDC (MVK) to enter the country*.
*Exception: nationals of countries with which Kazakhstan has resumed direct flights with:
UK
Hungary
Vietnam
Germany
Italy
Qatar
Kuwait
Netherlands
Poland
Saudi Arabia
Thailand
Czech Republic
This exception does not apply to foreign citizens crossing the Kazakhstan border by land transport. In this case, the permission of the IDC (MVK) will be required.
