PCR certificate is now required from all passengers arriving in Kazakhstan

In detail: 

From 15 January 2022, all passengers arriving in Kazakhstan from abroad are required to provide PCR certificate with a negative test result for COVID-19, regardless of availability of a full vaccination course: 

  • PCR certificate must be issued no later than 72 hours at the time of crossing the state border of Kazakhstan;
  • PCR certificate must be in English, Russian or Kazakh; 
  • Children under 5 y.o. are not required to present PCR certificate if there is a certificate from the accompanying persons.

In the absence of PCR certificate with a negative test result for COVID-19, passengers, including citizens of Kazakhstan and persons holding Kazahstan residence permit, will not be allowed on board.
