The 2025 edition of the Africa Tax Policy and Business Symposium (ATBS) concluded with great success in Mombasa, Kenya. This year’s theme guided a series of thought-provoking discussions, collaborative sessions, and strategic insights addressing pressing questions related to Africa's tax policies. It brought together a distinguished group of speakers, tax experts, authorities, and thought leaders, all focused on discussing and unravelling big questions surrounding tax policy in Africa.

ATBS 2025 recap of event held in Mombasa in Sep-Oct 2025

A convergence of expertise and influence

ATBS 2025 welcomed more than 80 clients and stakeholders from across Africa, representing a wide spectrum of industries and sectors. The event was further enriched by the presence of senior officials from revenue authorities in Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, and other key jurisdictions. Attendees also engaged with PwC specialists from Africa, Europe, and the United States, alongside external regulators and influential voices in tax and economic policy.

The symposium provided a rare opportunity for cross-border engagement, enabling participants to share experiences, challenges, and innovations in tax policy and administration.
