Kingston, Jamaica, 28, March 2018 – PwC Jamaica sports and social club delivered bun and cheese on Tuesday (March 27) to the teachers at the St Michael’s Primary school in Downtown, Kingston. The traditional Jamaica Easter treats were handed over to Mrs Juliet Campbell McPherson, principal of the school.
"PwC has been involve with St. Michael's Primary & Infant school on multiple outreach projects over the years and we have a tremendous appreciation for the teachers and the work they do. Extending our Easter treat to teachers was our way of showing that we care, as we continue to build trust in society, which is part of our purpose," said Shelly-Ann Henry, Manager, Assurance and president of the sports and social club.
Mrs Campbell McPherson thanked the PwC team on behalf of the teachers and noted that she appreciated PwC’s donation of bun and cheese, just in time for Easter. “PwC is always responsive to our needs and we truly appreciate this gesture,” said Mrs Campbell McPherson.
PwC has a longstanding relationship with St Michael’s Primary, providing assistance and hosting an annual Christmas treat for the students. Two hundred and fifteen students from communities in Downtown, Kingston attend the school.
