Montego Bay, Jamaica, 22 September 2017 – PwC partners from the Caribbean gave their time and made a donation as part of a charity cook-off to support two Montego Bay charities, the Committee for the Upliftment of the Mentally Ill (CUMI) and the Friends of Good Shepherd International.
Donations of US$2000 each were handed over to the two charities to support their respective worthwhile efforts during a charity cook-off earlier this week when the partners, attended their annual Partners’ Conference in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The Partners’ Conference is a key event in the PwC calendar, as it provides a space for the network of Caribbean partners to reconnect, share lessons learned and to discuss developments in the region.
The 2017 conference agenda included discussions on the 3-year operating plan, increased focus on values and improvements and growth in the individual firms. The regional network has seen positive developments among its talent, with recent promotions and the enrichment of the team. There are also plans in train to upgrade the technology and physical infrastructure of the regional network. The promotion of PwC’s values among new staff and clients was also a key focus area.
