Harlequin Boutique Hotel Limited - In Bankruptcy
Oliver Gregory Jordan was appointed as Trustee of the Estate of Harlequin Boutique Hotel Limited, a Bankrupt (“the Trustee”) on 12th January 2018. The appointment was made by the Supreme Court of Barbados following an application by the Preconco Limited, a creditor of Harlequin Boutique Hotel Limited (“HBHL”, “the Company”),
Pursuant to a resolution of the creditors on October 12th, 2018, Oliver Jordan was replaced as Trustee by Dr. Grenville Phillips, effective October 31, 2018.
The Court ordered that:
- HBHL be adjudged bankrupt by virtue of a receiving order pursuant to s. 4(10) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act 2001 (Cap. 303) (“BIA”).
- The Trustee be appointed the licensed trustee of the property of the bankrupt pursuant to s.4(13) of the BIA.
