Harlequin Boutique Hotel Limited - In Bankruptcy

Oliver Gregory Jordan was appointed as Trustee of the Estate of Harlequin Boutique Hotel Limited, a Bankrupt (“the Trustee”) on 12^th January 2018.  The appointment was made by the Supreme Court of Barbados following an application by the Preconco Limited, a creditor of Harlequin Boutique Hotel Limited (“HBHL”, “the Company”),

Pursuant to a resolution of the creditors on October 12th, 2018, Oliver Jordan was replaced as Trustee by Dr. Grenville Phillips, effective October 31, 2018.

The Court ordered that:

1. HBHL be adjudged bankrupt by virtue of a receiving order pursuant to s. 4(10) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act 2001 (Cap. 303) (“BIA”).
2. The Trustee be appointed the licensed trustee of the property of the bankrupt pursuant to s.4(13) of the BIA.
