Business Recovery Services

We are committed to support stakeholders in troubled businesses, to help unlock and enhance the value trapped in under-performing businesses.

  • We assist companies in resolving strategic, operational and financial issues while helping to improve businesses that are performing at below optimum levels. Services include those specific to a client's needs, such as strategic assessment, process improvement, asset redeployment, cost realignment, performance benchmarking, interim management, real estate, tax structuring and corporate finance advice.
  • We assist creditor committees in evaluating the financial problems facing a company before and during insolvency proceedings.
  • We undertake strategic, commercial and financial reviews of debtor companies on behalf of the lender(s). The work includes viability assessments and cash flow reviews, development of turnaround plans, balance sheet reconstructions, development of debt reduction programs and advice on disposals, refinancing and fund raising.
  • We provide insolvency services - we act as office holders - for example as receivers, liquidators or voluntary administrators - and as advisors, for example assisting debtor or creditor groups, or provide evidence in complex litigation. In Papua New Guinea the Insolvency Act provides for the distribution of the estates of insolvent debtors amongst their creditors, the release of insolvent debtors from their debts and related purposes.
