Access a vast range of internal and external work and project opportunities, with the option to change your career direction as your experience with PwC evolves. You will be working to world class standards and methodologies and have access to global resources, expertise and capabilities.

Personal Development

We invest in your development. Our training and development is of world class standard. This includes technical, soft and life skills training, support for professional qualifications such as CPA, and mentoring, coaching and regular feedback. For high potential employees, we also offer assignments overseas.

It's one of the classic dilemmas upon graduating: do you travel before you work or work before you travel? PwC can help you do both. We offer our staff opportunities to work domestically, at a client site, or internationally, depending on the needs of the business and our clients.

Career path

We offer a direct career path from a graduate all the way to partnership. This requires dedication, commitment and hardwork on your part. In return, we offer support in the form of coaching, training and development, as well as opportunities to stretch yourself through challenging assignments and projects.

Corporate responsibility

The goal of making a positive impact on the community, environment, people and marketplace is integrated into all our planning and processes, so it's part of our DNA. This means you have the opportunity to engage with corporate responsibility every day, and in every decision you make at PwC.

Build your skills in a supportive environment of inspiring people who'll help you reach your full potential. You are treated as an individual, and you'll have the opportunity to be coached and mentored by some extraordinary people with market leading expertise.

What does a typical career pathway look like?

This is our typical career pathway for client facing staff. We are happy to explore with you during the interview where your skills and experience best fit.

You have recently graduated or have a couple of years’ experience and have the organisational and technical skills to assist in meeting key objectives.

With a number of years’ experience in your chosen field, you'd be used to either managing teams or clients and ensuring strategic objectives are met. You have strong project management, leadership and influencing skills.

As a Director, you may be responsible for large teams or an area of business. You may also be responsible for business development and account direction and have built market expertise in your field.

You will be responsible for a line of service, strategising and leading your teams in the market place and developing the business at a high level.

How can my career progress?

At PwC we’re constantly looking to develop and challenge our people. Our review and performance development process is designed to guide you through your career at the pace that works best for you. In addition, you can benefit from some great programmes designed to give you flexibility in your career choices.
