Overview

The PwC Foundation began as an organization driven by the desire of PwC employees to respond to tragedies impacting their colleagues and communities. From the beginning, the people of PwC have shown unwavering compassion, care, and motivation to make a difference. This remains an indelible part of who we are. The Foundation both animates and amplifies that spirit.

Programs

People Who Care Fund

When PwC employees and their families find themselves facing an emergency financial hardship, the PwC Foundation’s People Who Care Fund can be a life-changing resource. By providing tax-free financial support, the fund directly assists employees affected by unexpected events from natural disasters to urgent medical crises, helping them navigate through difficult times. Since its launch in 2001, the People Who Care Fund has made a difference in the lives of over 2,000 PwC employees and their families.

“Our family has never been in this sort of situation before and it has been incredibly overwhelming, more than we ever could have imagined. I’m so fortunate for the PwC Foundation during this time and will definitely pay it forward in the future!”

Reimagine Grants

Partner engagement has connected the PwC Foundation to over 800 local organizations whose work promotes access and opportunity. Through the Reimagine grants program, active PwC US partners and principals can nominate nonprofits expanding educational opportunities in their communities. PwC employees are also able to lend their time, skills and passion to amplify the impact of these grants. The Foundation has awarded over $63 million in grants to these organizations since the program launched in 2018.

“On behalf of our entire team and the thousands of students we serve, I want to thank you for your generous support of our work. Our vision is that every first generation student will find meaningful, high quality employment. Your contribution will help us to make that a reality.”
