By focusing on where we can make the greatest difference, we create deeper and more lasting change. ​

Strategic giving​​

To accelerate the change we want to see in the world, we give to nonprofits with innovative solutions and untapped potential. Through our collaboration and support, we help their important work gain exposure and influence.​​

Strategic Giving represents the majority of our grantmaking. With these grants, we empower national nonprofits that expand economic mobility in a changing world. Through inclusive education and career pathways and our support for small businesses, we fund grantees that help people build the technical and human skills needed to navigate digital disruption. ​

​Our Veterans Commitment is a special area of focus within Strategic Giving. We help Veterans and their families build new skills, careers, and connections so they can seize the opportunities that begin when service ends. ​

We give to nonprofits that are helping college students and professional learners prepare for and pursue career opportunities.​

We connect entrepreneurs with the skills and tools they need to start, grow, and thrive.

The PwC Foundation supports military Veterans and their families and helps equip them with the resources and training to succeed in transitioning from active service to civilian employment. Since 2015, the Foundation’s Veterans Commitment has resulted in over $26 million in grant funding. This commitment is a testament to our belief in the extraordinary potential of Veterans, recognizing their resilience, leadership, and unique skills that can drive impactful change in their communities and beyond.​

Our holistic support model​​

The PwC Foundation provides more than funding. Through our holistic support model, we tap into the breadth of PwC resources and capabilities to support our grantees with a trust-based philanthropy philosophy. This approach to giving represents the full expression of our care as the people of PwC. ​

Responsive giving​​

The PwC Foundation was born from the People Who Care Fund, which was created to support the families of the PwC colleagues we lost in the September 11th attacks. Today, our Responsive Giving portfolio builds on that same compassion. Our programs care for our people and champion the causes that matter most to them. ​

We respond urgently and support immediate relief efforts following natural disasters in the US and Mexico.​

We provide emergency financial support to PwC colleagues and their families facing unexpected events.​

We champion nonprofit organizations ​nominated by PwC partners and principals that align to our strategic priorities.

We support local nonprofits our offices care about, empowering office managing partners and Social Impact Committees to address community priorities.​

We give voice and choice to PwC Inclusion Networks by funding organizations they care about. ​
