The report, titled “Promoting Inclusive Employment: Gender and Demographic Insights on Flexible Working Arrangements in the Philippine Private Sector,” is the product of a collaboration between Isla Lipana & Co. and the Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DEPDev); Investing in Women (IW), an initiative of the Australian Government; and the Australian Agency for International Development (Australian Aid). It explores the potential impact of FWAs on opportunities for women and marginalized communities, offering valuable insights to help shape policies and strategies for gender equality and care.
The workshop served as a platform for government leaders, development partners, technical experts, and other key stakeholders to gain insights into current sentiments on FWAs, review initial policy recommendations, and further deepen the conversation through focus group discussions. These exchanges play an important role in crafting recommendations that support the goals of the Trabaho Para sa Bayan (TPB) Act 2025–2034, which seeks to address employment challenges across the Philippines.
Deals and Corporate Finance Managing Partner Mary Jade Roxas-Divinagracia and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Partner Catherine Lipana-Gomez led the conduct of the study. The results were presented by ESG Director Daniele Coronacion, Analytics and AI Senior Manager Weddy Diamada, and Strategy Senior Manager Anton Tiongson III.
