PwC Philippines participates in NACPAE’s 32nd Annual Teachers’ Convention

PwC Philippines participated in the 32nd Annual Teachers’ Convention of the National Association of Certified Public Accountants in Education (NACPAE), held at Newtown Plaza Hotel, Baguio City on 19–21 June 2025. The event brought together accounting educators and professionals from across the country to exchange ideas and strengthen the future of accounting education.

On the first day of the convention, PwC Philippines Chairman and Senior Partner Roderick M. Danao joined the Kapihan 2025 panel discussion, titled “From Classrooms to Boardrooms: Charting a Sustainable Path for Accounting Education.” Alongside fellow industry leaders, Rick shared valuable insights on the evolving roles of accountants and educators in today’s business environment.

Meanwhile, on the second day of the convention, Assurance Partner Justo Jesus Namuco led a technical session on the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This session aimed to promote awareness and deepen understanding of global reporting practices and their impact on the accounting profession.
