PwC Philippines leaders participate in PICPA’s Annual Planning Conference and Induction Ceremony

The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) successfully held its Annual Planning Conference and Induction Ceremony on 19–21 June 2025 at the Quest Hotel in Clark, Pampanga. The annual event focused on establishing the organization’s goals and strategic direction for the upcoming fiscal year.

A key highlight of the event was the induction ceremony, which marked a milestone for PICPA as it welcomed a new set of leaders. Among the inductees was PwC Philippines Assurance Director Aldous Sarmiento, who will serve as Co-Chair of PICPA’s Quality Assurance Review (QAR) Committee for FY25–26.

The ceremony featured a valedictory address from Atty. Roland C. Pondoc, PICPA National President for FY24–25. His message highlighted the theme “Values Above All” and the organization’s key accomplishments throughout the previous year. This was followed by the inaugural address of Mr. Gerard B. Sanvictores, incoming PICPA National President for FY25–26, who outlined his goals and objectives for the organization for the upcoming year.

Also present at the event were PwC Philippines Chairman and Senior Partner Roderick Danao; Assurance Managing Partner Aldie Garcia; Assurance Partner Ma. Lois Gregorio-Abad, in her capacity as National President for 2025 of the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice (ACPAPP); and former Assurance Partner Geraldine Apostol.
