On 3 July 2025, over 50 Assurance managers from PwC Philippines gathered at the Learning and Experience Hub in Sta. Mesa, Manila for the Annual Local Instructor Workshop.
Organized by the Assurance Learning and Development team, the workshop aimed to equip future instructors with advanced industry knowledge and skills to guide fellow audit professionals.
The session opened with welcome remarks from Assurance Director Aldous Jerome Sarmiento, followed by an engaging icebreaker activity for the participants.
Learning and Development Leader Pam Gregorio and Senior Manager Rinah Rivero then conducted structured exercises and introduced the learning roadmap, highlighting different learning methods participants can apply in their new roles.
PwC Philippines Chairman and Senior Partner Roderick Danao delivered an inspiring message on leveraging real-world experiences to connect with the learners. Afterward, Vice Chairman and Assurance Managing Partner Aldie Garcia emphasized the instructors’ role in motivating their people and shaping the future workforce.
Also present to share their insights were Assurance Partner Dennis Malco, Assurance Director Alvin Perdio, Human Capital Director Jane Saliendra, Learning and Development Senior Manager Emerald David, and Assurance Offshore Services Managers Jollyn Aira Pascua and Paul Jacob Torres.
