PwC Philippines' Assurance Group C successfully conducted an outreach program during their summer outing in Panglao, Bohol. Organized in collaboration with the Saint Augustine Parish, the initiative aimed to support underprivileged elementary school students and contribute to the parish’s ongoing community efforts.
The outreach program benefited 43 elementary students, each receiving a package of school supplies to support their academic needs. The Saint Augustine Parish also received a monetary donation through the generosity of Group C partners.
The event commenced with a prayer, followed by opening remarks from Rev. Fr. Ronald Camet, the Assisting Resident Priest, who emphasized the importance of kindness, giving and community service. A lively dance energizer set the tone for fun and interaction, followed by mini games that encouraged teamwork and laughter among the children.
One of the most memorable highlights was the Marshmallow Tower Activity, which encouraged creativity and collaboration. The children worked side by side with the Group C team to build their towers.
The event concluded with closing remarks from Assurance Partner Jan Michael Reyes, who extended his gratitude to all partners, volunteers, parents and attendees for making the program a meaningful success.
This initiative was part of the firm’s “Tourism with a Purpose” program, which encourages employees to integrate corporate sustainability into their summer outings.
