PwC Philippines' Assurance Group A and Learning & Development (L&D) teams conducted a cleanup drive along the shores of Boracay during their summer outing on 7 June.
The group gathered various types of litter, including plastic bottles, food wrappers and cigarette butts. Additionally, they engaged with the local community, fostering conversations about the importance of proper waste segregation and sustainability awareness.
The group was led by Chairman and Senior Partner Roderick Danao and Assurance Partners Imelda Dela Vega-Mangundaya, Zaldy Aguirre, Dexter DJ Toledana and Vergel Pabillon, Jr.
This initiative is part of our firm’s “Tourism with a Purpose” program, which encourages professionals to incorporate corporate sustainability into their summer activities. It underscores our dedication to environmental stewardship and active community participation.
