PwC BSP empowers young learners in Novaliches, Quezon City

On 21 June, PricewaterhouseCoopers Business Services Philippines Co. Ltd. (PwC BSP) conducted an outreach program for over 60 grade-schoolers in Sta. Lucia, Novaliches. Held at the Quezon City Public Library Sta. Lucia branch, the event was organized in collaboration with Project Baon by Aral Pinoy Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing practical education to underserved communities across Luzon.

Led by PwC BSP Manager Jerico Galvez, volunteers from PwC BSP Pasig office facilitated an engaging program. It featured five learning stations with enjoyable and interactive activities to educate young learners on various topics such as mathematics and science.

Additionally, the children and their guardians received school supplies, health kits and packed lunches. The event concluded with a donation of learning materials to the Quezon City Public Library, reinforcing PwC Philippines’ commitment to community development and education.

The team consisted of 20 volunteers, including PwC BSP Senior Manager Royce Jason Amrad; Managers Von Marselle Atacador and Arnold Allan Macatiag; Assistant Manager Karen Charm Patacsil; Associates Criziel Christine Penaloza, Ali Medina, Alfred Fiestada and Julie Ann Sancho; Aral Pinoy Inc. Founder Antonio Levy Ingles Jr.; and Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson Xyrone Joshua Pelayo.
