Professionals from our Cebu and Iloilo offices planted 500 mangrove seedlings to help restore ecosystems that protect coastlines and support marine life biodiversity. The team also engaged with the local community through educational discussions to raise awareness of the importance of mangroves and encourage sustainable practices. This activity underscores our firm’s dedication to environmental stewardship and active community participation.
The event was conducted in collaboration with the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO). The initiative was led by PwC BSP Assistant Manager Christine Faith Pagsuguiron, and Senior Associates Pauline Rivera-Sobremisana and Danielle Angela Trabucon.
The initiative is part of the firm's "Tourism with a Purpose" program, which encourages PwC professionals to integrate corporate sustainability into their summer activities.
