PwC BSP, a Philippine member firm of the PwC global network, celebrated its tenth anniversary on 1 September 2025. Professionals from our Pasig, Cebu, Davao and Iloilo offices bonded over meaningful connections and delectable food with our leaders and colleagues.
The celebration started with a Thanksgiving Mass for our Catholic professionals. Attendees took a trip down memory lane with a video tribute looking back on PwC BSP’s ten-year journey.
PwC Philippines Chairman and Senior Partner Roderick Danao emphasized the importance of leading with integrity and values in every aspect of our work to create a positive impact on our clients, community and ourselves.
Vice Chairman and Assurance Managing Partner Aldie Garcia highlighted PwC BSP’s role as a catalyst for innovative and transformative work. Chairman Emeritus Alexander Cabrera, who played a key role in shaping PwC BSP, shared how success comes from good leadership that prioritizes its people. Tax Partner Brando Cabalsi led a discussion on future initiatives with PwC BSP.
Business Services Partner Jimmy Disquetado gave a heartfelt speech, recalling PwC BSP’s rich history and culture, as well as how he found fulfillment through discovering new things and working with his team. Jimmy expressed his gratitude to the community of solvers that made this milestone possible, sharing, “There’s nowhere to go but up.”
Rick, Aldie, Alex and Brando bestowed the Pioneer Recognition Award to individuals who marked ten years of service with PwC Philippines.
The day concluded with a toast and a social night where PwC BSP professionals enjoyed sumptuous food and a variety of drinks.
