Isla Lipana & Co./PwC Philippines proudly participated in the last day of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (PICPA) 2025 Accountancy Week Celebration (AWC). This was held on 18 July 2025 at the Century Park Hotel in Malate, Manila.
The program for this day was spearheaded by PICPA to identify the opportunities and challenges faced by all practice sectors and align them with the organization's strategic initiatives for 2025.
The event opened with the oathtaking of CPAs, led by Isla Lipana & Co. Assurance Partner and PICPA 2025 AWC Committee Member Michael Castañeda. This was followed by a roundtable discussion on the role of CPAs in embracing change and driving progress in various industries. Isla Lipana & Co. Assurance Partner and ACPAPP National President Ma. Lois G. Abad shared valuable insights during the discussion, which also featured the National Presidents of ACPACI, nACPAE and GACPA, as well as the Sector Vice Presidents of PICPA.
