As part of the firm’s “Tourism with a Purpose” initiative, Isla Lipana & Co./PwC Philippines’ Deals and Corporate Finance recently conducted a meaningful outreach activity at the Balitoc Daycare Center in Calatagan, Batangas last 1 August 2025. This initiative was led by Deals and Corporate Finance Managing Partner Mary Jade Roxas-Divinagracia and organized in coordination with the Barangay Balitoc Council and Ms. Telma, the center’s long-serving educator.
The team facilitated interactive activities with approximately 40 kindergarten children, providing snacks and distributing school kits to aid their early learning needs. Ms. Telma and the parents of the pre-schoolers expressed delight and gratefulness for the supplies provided.
To further enhance the learning environment, the team also donated educational materials and toys. These were acquired in collaboration with Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering orthopedically handicapped individuals through livelihood programs.
This initiative reflects the firm’s continued dedication to making a meaningful difference in our local communities.
