Isla Lipana & Co./PwC Philippines congratulates the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Cebu Chapter on the success of the 12th PICPA Cebu Summit. With the theme “Yearn to Learn,” this event was held on 17 July 2025 at the NUSTAR Resort and Casino in Cebu City.
Isla Lipana & Co. Chairman and Senior Partner Roderick Danao was a speaker at the event, leading a technical session on how companies can reinvent their business models to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. He kicked off the session by addressing the megatrends and environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues prompting business leaders to innovate. Additionally, Rick delved into how Philippine CEOs are reimagining their strategies, drawing insights from the 2024 Philippine CEO Survey and the 28th Global CEO Survey.
He underscored that with numerous global threats beyond their control, business leaders must adapt and transform to build and sustain momentum. By fostering a culture of innovation, leaders can develop resilient and adaptable organizations that thrive in a swiftly changing business environment.
