The conference commenced with opening remarks from Lawrence Biscocho, International Tax and Cabrera & Co. (a member firm of the PwC network) Leader and General Counsel, who shared a message of celebration for the group’s accomplishments and expressed optimism for the future under new leadership.
Following this, Tax Managing Partner Carlos Carado II presented the key highlights and milestones of fiscal year 2025. He also outlined strategic priorities aimed at driving growth and sustaining the group’s success into fiscal year 2026.
A dynamic segment featuring the triumvirate leaders featured each team’s proposed business plans and initiatives. This was followed by a panel discussion with the tax partners, fostering collaboration and alignment across leadership.
The conference also included an engaging segment led by Tax Partner Joel Navarro, along with an interactive breakout session that encouraged active participation and idea-sharing among attendees.
One of the most anticipated parts of the event was “Leadership Unplugged,” a candid sit-down conversation moderated by Tax Partner Chiara Gutierrez. The session featured Carlos, Law, and Tax–Client Accounting Services Partner Fedna Parallag, who addressed questions from the audience. Topics centered on the growth of the Tax and Legal practice, compensation and rewards, and the development of people and talent. The leaders shared personal insights from their leadership journeys and emphasized the importance of recognizing employee contributions in driving the practice forward.
To close the conference, Tax Partner Roselle Caraig expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants and recapped the day’s key discussions. She concluded with inspiring messages, such as “Collaborate to Connect”—a reminder of the power of meaningful connections in fostering innovation and collective success.
The event wrapped up with a warm and convivial gathering, where attendees enjoyed delicious food and light conversations, strengthening camaraderie across the group.
