Admitted to the Athens Bar in 1998, Vassiliοs brings over 25 years of expertise in tax and legal services and a proven record of guiding businesses through complex transactions and regulatory landscapes.
Vassilios joined PwC Greece in 2002 after roles at Arthur Andersen and Elias Paraskevas Law Firm. During his tenure at PwC Greece, he has served as Leader of our International Tax Services Practice, Tax M&A Practice, Legal Practice, X-Firm Real estate industry. In 2023, he assumed the role of Tax & Legal Services Leader. Additionally, he has served as a member and Chair of the firm’s Governance Body.
He has built significant expertise in tax and legal structuring and due diligence for M&A transactions. His clients include banks, private equity funds, and Greek public and family-owned companies across Financial Services, Real Estate, Tourism, Energy, and Infrastructure.
Vassiliοs has contributed numerous publications to Greek legal and tax journals and is the author of the book The GAAR in Greek Law – Scope and Limitations, published in January 2017.
He holds an LLB and an LLM from the University of Athens and an LLM from the University of London.
