George Papathanasiou

George is the Leader of the Integrated Audits and Shipping practice as well as the assurance digital/technology leader of PwC Greece. He has 18 years experience in coordinating the audit of large international clients, listed in NYSE and LSE, subsidiaries of international clients and Private Equity Funds with international activity. He focuses on the Shipping Industry and Consumer Products sector. George has considerable experience in managing large and complex group audits. He is a hands-on Partner with practical solutions with respect to internal control and accounting matters. George has good knowledge of IFRS and other external reporting requirements. He has 3 years of experience working with PwC USA, Washington D.C., working on private and public clients. George is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
