Programme brief
Risk management is widely recognised as crucial for effective corporate governance. Organisations must identify and manage all their business risks, including social, environmental, financial and operational risks, bringing the risk to an acceptable level. However, each organisation is unique, with varied organisational structures and attitudes towards risk management, processes and procedures, and various differing regulatory requirements to subscribe to and comply with.
Internal auditors must therefore adapt to the peculiarities of their organisations and adequately respond to the identified risks and to the needs of interested parties.
This course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of risk-based internal auditing (RBIA), a critical function in ensuring organisational success and compliance. Participants will learn how to assess risks and plan and conduct internal audits that are targeted at addressing the most significant risks that their organisation faces.
