Corporate Responsibility

Ghana Corporate Responsibility (CR) is an integral part of our business that enables us to do the right thing and be a catalyst for change in the world around us.

The term Corporate Responsibility has many different meanings and is interpreted in various ways. To us Corporate Responsibility means:

  • Making meaningful systematic contributions to social issues that are relevant to who we are and what we do as a business.
  • Investing in our people by providing them with enriching experiences to enable them to create value for our clients and the communities we serve.
  • Acting as a responsible business by building integrity and trust in our business practices and using our distinctive skills and expertise to help other businesses to do the same.
  • Understanding and reducing our impact on the environment by embedding environmentally business practices

Our CR Initiatives

We believe in investing in sustainable needs based projects and activities that enable us to live out what we believe in while creating value for our clients, people and the community in which operate.

These include:

  • Skilled Volunteering- mentoring sessions to male and female students ranging from secondary school age to those entering university
  • Donations to medical institutions across country
  • Donation of library books
  • Provision of pro-bono accounting activities
  • Collaborating with non-government organisations (NGOs) to explore solutions to environmental problems in Ghana.

In FY15 our diversity efforts were recognised at the National Women in Finance awards where PwC won the coveted “2014 Workplace Initiative Award”
