The (National Secondary School Entrepreneurship Competition) NSSEC is annual, simulation‑based business competition designed for students in Forms 4–6 and was regarded as one of the largest of its kind in the Caribbean. Over a six‑week period, teams managed virtual start‑ups using the Marketplace Live business simulation platform, making strategic decisions across marketing, sales, staffing, and production. The programme aimed to replicate real‑world business challenges and equip students with practical, hands‑on entrepreneurial training while strengthening strategic thinking and decision‑making skills.
PwC was proud to support the next generation of innovators as a sponsor of the National Secondary School Entrepreneurship Competition (NSSEC) for the eighth consecutive year. The competition focused on fostering entrepreneurial skills, teamwork, and innovation among secondary school students in Trinidad and Tobago. PwC congratulated St. James Secondary School, the 2024 overall winners, and extended a special commendation to St. Joseph’s Convent, recipients of the PwC Building Trust Division Award, which was presented by Assurance Partner Aruni Singh‑Persaud.
