Tax Alert No. 7 [Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 12-2023 dated 27 January 2023]

Availability of online application for registration information updates and other online facilities for registration-related transactions through Online Registration and Update System (ORUS)

RMC No. 12-2023 has been issued to announce the implementation of online facilities for registration-related transactions through ORUS starting 23 January 2023.

The following registration information can be updated online through ORUS: (1) Registration Information Update, (2) Secondary Registration, and (3) Other Online Facility.

Taxpayers who have existing ORUS accounts may access and avail the online registration updates and other functionalities by logging-in to the system. On the other hand, those who do not have an ORUS account and opted to use the online facilities shall be required to create an account in ORUS following the guidelines provided under RMC No. 122-2022.
