Mary Jean C. Balboa

Mary Jean Balboa (Jane) is a Tax Partner of PwC Philippines. She has more than 13 years of extensive experience in providing tax consultancy services for various multinational companies in a wide range of industries including power generation, construction and engineering, business process outsourcing, pharmaceuticals, real estate, technology, media and entertainment, and telecommunications.

Her core experience includes transfer pricing, corporate restructuring, tax assessment and tax advisory on the application and interpretation of domestic laws particularly on value added tax and e-invoicing.

She has attended various training courses both locally and abroad for transfer pricing and international tax planning.

Jane earned her Juris Doctor at the Ateneo Law School. She graduated Honorable Mention from De La Salle University, Manila with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

Being both a certified public accountant and a lawyer, Jane maintains active memberships at the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
