Programme brief

As Ghana's economy rebounces from a period of turbulent growth, the government continues to monitor and implement tax measures to stabilise public finances and sustain recovery. These reforms have among others aimed to improve tax compliance, expand the tax base and enhance revenue collection.

In the past year, we have seen considerable changes in tax legislation with some significant impact on Corporate Income Taxes and Value Added Tax. For businesses, the evolving tax landscape poses both opportunities for tax optimisation and challenges in compliance. As new fiscal policies continue to unfold, businesses must adapt to avoid potential penalties, operational disruptions and increased tax liabilities.

This training will:

  • provide crucial insights into recent amendments to tax laws and significant developments in tax policy,
  • analyse recent tax rulings, administrative procedures and changes in practice,
  • discuss efficient and effective tax planning strategies designed to optimise the management of your tax costs,
  • offer thorough guidance and methodologies for navigating the evolving tax landscape,
  • outline the specific tax implications of recent modifications for businesses, enabling your organisation to stay ahead, and
  • unravel the complexities of tax policy and provide participants with a comprehensive understanding and confidence to make informed decisions.
