PwC Estonia and EBS join forces on CFO development programme

June 2026

PwC Estonia and Estonian Business School (EBS) have signed a cooperation agreement under which PwC will bring its international advisory experience and sector expertise to the EBS CFO Development Programme, offering finance leaders and specialists in Estonia a unique development platform.

PwC expertise strengthens programme content

PwC is one of the world's leading professional services firms, operating in 136 countries and bringing together over 365,000 consultants. The PwC Estonia team advises Estonia's largest and most ambitious companies on a daily basis in matters of financial management, business strategy, taxation, risk management, and digital transformation.

Under the cooperation agreement, PwC's top specialists will bring to the development programme:

  • International advisory experience – knowledge and best practices based on advising companies on financial management both in Estonia and internationally
  • The latest industry trends – strategic M&A, digital integration and cybersecurity, data-driven decision-making, and changes in the regulatory environment
  • Practical business cases – real cases and frameworks used by PwC in its daily advisory work that programme participants can immediately apply in their own organisations

"The role of the CFO has undergone a fundamental transformation in recent years. Today's CFO must be not only financially competent but also a strategic leader, a change driver, and a business partner to the board. Our daily work at PwC clearly shows that it is precisely those CFOs who invest in their leadership development that create the greatest value for their companies. With this cooperation, we aim to give Estonian CFOs access to the same knowledge and tools used by CFOs at the world's most successful companies," comments Tarmo Meresmaa, Director of the Advisory line of service at PwC Estonia.

The programme is aimed at finance leaders

The CFO Development Programme is designed for practising CFOs, financial controllers, heads of finance departments, and finance business partners who wish to strengthen their strategic role within their organisation and develop modern leadership competencies. PwC clients receive a discount when joining the programme.
