Elektrum Eesti OÜ signed an agreement for the acquisition of Solarpark Kuusalu, with which Elektrum Eesti, a member of the Latvenergo Group, expands its capacity of renewable energy production, increasing it threefold.
According to the representatives of Elektrum Eesti, the transaction fits well into the group's strategy, as it enables the installation of energy storage systems on the property and the prospective creation of a charging station for electric cars near the Tallinn-Narva highway. The deal is also part of Latvenergo Group's investment plan, which aims to secure 2.3 GW of wind and solar energy capacity by 2030.
PwC Estonia Deals advised on the purchase of a solar park located on more than 22 hectares in Kuusalu municipality, consisting of 27 thousand electricity-producing panels, by conducting an analysis of the value of the acquired solar park and financial and tax due diligence.
PwC's team of transaction advisors included Raul Ruubel, Allar Karu, Egert-Gerret Kreek, Andrea Pärtelpoeg, Külli Kimsto, Georgi Aksjonov, Harald Sumberg and tax advisors Martin Tois and Tanja Kriisa. Elektrum Eesti OÜ's legal advisor was Cobalt Law Firm.
