PwC Careers hero

Jan Brázda, Managing Partners for Sustainability & ESG

Help companies grow in a way that doesn’t harm the planet and society.

PwC is the first of the “Big Four” to have established and, furthermore, developed an ESG department. No modern company can pretend that climate change doesn’t exist.

In the ESG team, you will help clients from both the private and public sectors reduce their carbon footprint, prepare them for ESG audits, formulate decarbonisation strategies and find ways to finance sustainable projects so that sustainability does not hinder their business, but rather supports it. At PwC, we see ESG as a long-term investment reflected in better quality of life for all of us.

What will you learn?

Find benefits for clients in the area of sustainability and formulate ESG strategies that benefit clients over the long term.

You will find out that sustainability is not a fashionable trend for companies, but a necessity.

On a daily basis, you will be involved in issues that have meaning and actually improve the world around us.

You will gain insight into various companies and see how they work.

You will not only work for clients but also gain the opportunity to educate the entire market.

You will attend various events that have the purpose of showing that ESG is not a burden but is instead a sensible way to do business.

What do colleagues like at PwC?

"I’m glad that my work has meaning and a positive impact on society. At PwC, we have a global Net Zero strategy in which we are committed to a radical reduction of emissions by 2030, and my team is involved in its implementation."

Lucie, Manager

"What I most like about working in ESG is the extinctive dynamic team, where it is possible to learn a lot from my more senior colleagues. At the same time, we have a friendly atmosphere and we enjoy a pleasant chat over morning coffee almost every day."

Timea, Senior Consultant

"PwC enables you to create and launch your own business, assemble your own team and become an entrepreneur. I’ve been happy at PwC since the beginning, because I don’t like routine and I need freedom and flexibility in the work environment."

Ondřej, Director
