In a world where discussions about equal pay are becoming increasingly intense, we at PwC Czech Republic are proud to be one of only four companies in the Czech Republic to have obtained the EQUAL-SALARY certification in 2024 and to have defended it again this year. This certification is not just a piece of paper – it is proof that fair pay is not just a promise at our company, but a reality.
While overall statistics show that women in our country earn 17% less than their male colleagues, we decided that we wanted to do things differently. It took eight long months of thorough testing, but it was worth it. Today, we can proudly say that we are pioneers in Central and Eastern Europe with clear commitment to equality.
