Tax Review Committee Report

In October 2015, the Tax Review Committee presented its report to the Government. After two years of work and over 100 submissions, the Committee produced 91 recommendations for reform to PNG's tax environment. Although the Committee's report is not Government policy, it is expected that the ideas raised through the report will shape the conversation in the coming month and years. Many of the recommendations are far reaching and involve fundamental changes to the existing tax regime. At PwC, we look forward to further consultation and the opportunity to share our views on shaping the future.  Read about the Committee's process and recommendations in our report.
