Strengthening disaster readiness through holistic support

For over a decade, the PwC Foundation has supported Team Rubicon's work helping communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters. With more than $8 million in cumulative support, including national grants and event-specific disaster response, this collaboration reflects the Foundation's holistic support model, which combines financial, human, and social capital to support grantees.

PwCers contribute human capital through year-round volunteer opportunities to directly engage in disaster response efforts. A pro bono climate risk modeling project with PwC employees and partners helped Team Rubicon identify communities most vulnerable to extreme weather events, translate real-time storm forecasts into actionable insights, and develop a strategy for integrating climate data into operational planning. PwC also provided strategic visibility through a published case study and featured video, as well as recognition at Team Rubicon's 2025 Salute to Service Gala as part of the inaugural Sentinel Council.

Across funding, people, and influence, this collaboration reflects the Foundation's holistic support model at work.
