Building human skills for a technology-driven future

The future of work will be shaped not only by technology, but by the unique human skills that help people thrive alongside it. To prepare learners for that future, the PwC Foundation awarded $2 million in grants to advance The Human Skills Project, PwC’s three-year societal commitment to build critical human skills for success alongside technology.

The grants include $1 million to the Muhammad Ali Center and $1 million to The Posse Foundation. With this support, the Muhammad Ali Center will launch a national model designed to equip approximately 13,500 students and 30 faculty members with durable human and professional skills to thrive on campus, in the community, and in the workplace. The Posse Foundation will expand its Career Program, connecting around 5,000 scholars to leadership development rooted in relationship building, cross-cultural communication, and teamwork. Approximately 1,600 scholars are expected to secure paid internships with leading companies and organizations.

These grants are a critical enabler of The Human Skills Project, which aims to activate 1 million volunteer hours and reach 250,000 learners over the next three years. Together, the PwC Foundation and PwC are advancing a future-ready workforce grounded in human values and equipped to adapt to a rapidly changing world.
