LAGOS, 22 April 2026 – The partners and staff of PwC Nigeria have donated ₦8.75 million to five charities supporting disability inclusion, literacy, and social development across Nigeria, as part of its annual charity drive.
Now in its ninth year, the initiative reflects the firm’s societal purpose with a focus on supporting communities through sustained impact.
“For the past nine years, this initiative has been one of the ways we bring our societal purpose to life by supporting over 40 organisations and contributing over ₦60 million to organisations that expand opportunities for underserved groups. By enabling greater inclusion and participation in society, these organisations are helping more people contribute meaningfully and realise their potential. Through this initiative, PwC Nigeria is building trust and helping to address some of the most important challenges in our society.”
PwC Nigeria’s annual charity programme is employee-led, with partners and staff voluntarily contributing a portion of their income, nominating and voting beneficiary organisations to determine the final recipients. Representatives from PwC also visited the beneficiaries of this year’s edition in Lagos and Abuja to present the donations and engage directly with their teams on the impact of their work.
“This initiative reflects a shared commitment from our people to support organisations delivering real impact. By contributing towards this donation, our partners and staff are giving back to our communities and showing care. The causes supported this year, including education, disability inclusion, and care for vulnerable groups, reflect where our people are most committed to making a difference. We commend these organisations for the important work they do and are proud to support them in extending their impact.”
Each organisation received ₦1.75 million to support targeted initiatives, including educational resources, healthcare support, facility improvements, skills development, and assistive services for individuals with special needs.
Through its annual charity drive, PwC Nigeria continues to support organisations working at the frontlines of social impact, enabling them to expand access, improve livelihoods, and deliver essential services within their communities.
