PwC Ghana is proud to announce the successful completion of Cohort 2 of the Women in Leadership Programme, a transformative initiative designed to accelerate the growth of female leaders within the firm. Delivered in partnership with Breakthrough Leadership Transformation Group from April to August 2025, this programme underscores PwC’s commitment to leadership development through tailored, strategic initiatives that address the unique needs of our people.

The PwC Women in Leadership Programme empowers participants with essential skills, networks and mindsets to lead with impact both personally and professionally. The curriculum centers on three core leadership pillars:

  • Redefining your leadership vision and purpose: Clarifying leadership aspirations and strengthening intentional impact.
  • Trustworthy connections, courageous conversations and strategic networking: Building authentic relationships, fostering confident dialogue and expanding influential networks.
  • Life-work integration, managing the inner critic and lifting others as you rise: Cultivating balance, self-awareness, and a dedication to mentorship.

Bridging learning with action

Participants engaged in strategic projects that addressed real challenges across PwC’s lines of service, designing practical, impactful solutions. This hands-on approach not only nurtures strategic thinking but ensures learning translates into tangible business outcomes through active implementation.

Proven impact on career advancement

The programme’s success is reflected in measurable outcomes. Cohort 1 saw one participant promoted to partner and two to associate director. Impressively, even before the conclusion of Cohort 2, three participants earned promotions to senior manager—highlighting how deliberate leadership development accelerates career progression.

Shaping future-ready leaders

Beyond individual growth, the Women in Leadership Programme is instrumental in cultivating a culture of high performance, collaboration and ethical leadership at PwC Ghana. Through targeted coaching, immersive workshops and experiential learning, we continue to strengthen the pipeline of female leaders poised to drive the firm’s sustained success.

PwC Ghana extends heartfelt congratulations to the exceptional women of Cohort 2. As they embark on the next phase of their leadership journeys, their achievements will inspire and pave the way for future generations within the firm and beyond.
