Mandatory online filing of individual income-tax returns for AY 2025–26

In brief

The National Board of Revenue (Board) has issued a special order1 mandating that all individual taxpayers must file their income-tax returns for assessment year (AY) 2025–26 exclusively through the online portal, effective from 4 August 2025. Taxpayers are required to submit their returns via the Board’s official e-filing platform at www.etaxnbr.gov.bd.
