Angola - Validity of documents of foreign citizens in Angola (new update)

In brief
It was published the Executive Decree 259/21, of 5 August, which determines that the documents related to the permanence of foreign citizens who are absent from national territory, namely residence permit, refugee card, investor visa, work visa and temporary stay visa, expired from 28 February 2020, are considered valid until 30 September 2021.
It remains the obligation to renew or extend, as the case may be, these documents, without penalty, as their holders return to Angola, provided that the renewal or extension is requested within 5 working days from the date of arrival in Angola or after the quarantine if that is the case.
