Certification by ANPG mandatory for all companies providing services to the oil sector

In brief

As per Instructive no. 6/21, of 4 November, of the Agency for Petroleum, Gas and Biofuel (ANPG), published in the context of the new Local Content regime approved by Presidential Decree no. 271/20, of 20 October, any and all companies providing services to the oil & gas industry are required to be registered with and certified by ANPG.

The legal deadline for the conclusion of the certification process is 180 days from the date of submission of the required documentation by the service provider to ANPG.

This Instruction established that entities operating in the Oil & Gas sector must adapt their internal processes in order to implement the local content rules and procedures within 6 months, which deadline ends by May 2022.
