Practical workshop “Improving efficiency and profitability of state-owned enterprises by helping non-financial managers to use financial information”

On 1 December 2015, PwC Ukraine partnered with CIMA (The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) to deliver a practical workshop Improving efficiency and profitability of state-owned enterprises by helping non-financial managers to use financial information.
Over 30 senior representatives of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and respective departments of line ministries attended the workshop.

- Andrew Miskin, Deputy President of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
In-depth presentations and extensive discussions helped the participants to gain better understanding of management accounting, its role and advantages for management. The workshop also highlighted needs of SOE management teams and public officials in professional development and competency building to improve efficiency and ensure sustainability of state-owned enterprises.
PwC Ukraine also announced Finance for Non-Financiers, a free educational course for SOE employees, to be launched in January 2016.
