Driving economic advancement through community college support

The PwC Foundation made a $6 million grant to Jobs for the Future (JFF), the largest education grant the Foundation has ever awarded. This grant addresses acritical challenge: the stark underrepresentation of Black and Latino/Hispanic workers in high-wage, high-growth industries. By working with community colleges, JFF aims to dismantle systemic societal obstacles and provide students with the skills, knowledge, and work-based learning opportunities that are essential for economic mobility.

Over a three-year period, the grant will enable JFF to identify and collaborate with a cohort of 10 community colleges, offering direct funding, technical assistance and coaching designed to connect 3,000+ students to paid work opportunities. This work aims to prepare students for meaningful careers and contribute to narrowing the racial wealth gap, fostering inclusive economic growth.

The Foundation’s grant to JFF demonstrates its commitment to scaling pathways to success for under recognized communities.
