Corporate Governance Training
This course aims to foster the critical understanding of the concepts, issues and practices in the governance structure of modern corporations as well as the ability of the participants to synthesise and apply this knowledge in a cooperative working environment, aligned with the overall company strategy.

- The importance of governance in an organization;
- High level oversight of the King IV code on corporate governance;
- Ethical Leadership and Corporate citizenship;
- Internal Audit;
- Combined assurance;
- The governance of risk;
- The governance of Information Technology;
- Governing stakeholder relationship;
- Integrated reporting and disclosure; and
- Internal financial controls.
Course objective
At the end of the training course, participants will know what the elements of good governance are and know how to apply the principles in their respective organisations in terms of transparency, accountability and integrated, stakeholder-inclusive approach to economic, social and environmental stewardship.
