Tax Management for Young Professionals
As young professionals make up most of our workforce in Namibia, this course will provide them with the necessary insight on understanding income tax and how it works. There is a huge demand for this in the community.
Course outline:
- What is tax and why is it there?
- What should I consider, when structuring my salary package at my employer (taxability of motor vehicle allowance, housing allowance, salary sacrifice, etc);
- How to complete my annual income tax return (different types of returns and where to complete what); and
- Managing my tax affairs (filing of returns, due dates and possible assistance from specialists or Inland Revenue Customer care).
