Basic Excel training

Dates: 16 & 17 February 2026

Venue: TBC

Time: Day 1: 08h00 - 17h00         

Day 2: 08h00 - 13h00

Cost (incl VAT): N$3,000 (including refreshments)

Topics:

Navigating in excel: Resizing cells and editing cells; Adding sheets/Deleting sheets; Inserting/ deleting rows/columns; Renaming sheets; Moving between sheets (Ctrl + Pgup/Pgdn), shortcuts.

Working with data: Selecting and renaming ranges; Basic Formulas, Filters/Sorting; Freeze panes; Creating and formatting tables; Inserting charts; Hyperlinks; Pictures; Shapes; Printing; Transpose.

Prerequisites:

To ensure success, delegates will need to be familiar with using personal laptops and computers and should have experience using a keyboard and mouse.

Specific tasks the delegates should be able to perform include switching on a laptop, opening and closing applications, understanding the difference between left-click and right-click, navigating basic file structures, and managing files and folders.

Intermediate Excel training

Dates: 18 & 19 February 2026

Venue: TBC

Time: Day 1: 08h00 - 17h00         

Day 2: 08h00 - 13h00

Cost (incl VAT): N$4,000 (including refreshments)

Topics:

Navigating in excel: Recap of basics and terminology, Editing and Formatting, Text to column; Left formula; Right formula; Concatenate; Self filling; Date function; Time function.

Working with data: Data validation; Protecting excel sheets; VLOOKUP’s; Pivot tables; Conditional formatting; Text to Columns, IF formula; SUMIF formula.

Prerequisites:

To ensure success, delegates should have completed our Basic Excel course or passed our Excel readiness check with 72% or more.

Step 1: To ensure you are enrolled in the session that best matches your current skills, completing our Excel Readiness Check is a prerequisite for registration. Please email na_busschool@pwc.com to receive access to the assessment and take the first step toward your training journey.

Step 2: Once you have completed the Excel Readiness Check, our Business School administrator will review your results and provide you with the correct registration link. This will allow you to complete your online registration and payment to secure your spot in the training session.

Registrations close 2 February 2026. For logistical purposes registrations will close at 15h00.
