Birgit de Lange

Birgit is an Associate Director at PwC Namibia, bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in internal auditing across diverse industries. She is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and has worked with a broad range of clients, leveraging her deep internal audit expertise to deliver impactful solutions.

Birgit spent more than five years on secondment at PwC Australia, during which she supported internal audit clients across South East Asia—including Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia—as well as the United States.

Birgit dedicated four years to serving on the executive committee of the Institute of Internal Auditors Namibia (IIA Namibia), with two years in the role of chapter president.

Her client portfolio spans multiple sectors, including Financial Services, State-Owned Entities, Retail and Consumer, Transport and Logistics, and Hospitality. Beyond internal audit, Birgit plays a pivotal role as PwC Namibia’s lead facilitator for risk management workshops.
